Cancellation, deposits and support on Sailo
Sailo listings carry their own cancellation terms, chosen by the owner from a range of policies that runs from flexible to strict, and the policy on the listing is the one that binds you. A flexible listing may refund in full up to a few days before; a strict one may keep part or all of the payment inside a week or two of the date. Read the exact wording, and remember that the deposit is separate from the rental price.
Weather is the captain's decision. - Filter by departure marina before anything else. “Algarve” listings include Vilamoura, Portimão and Lagos.
- Ask the owner in writing what the price includes: captain, fuel, VAT, water, snorkel gear, and how much the deposit is.
- Check the capacity against your group, including children. The number on the boat's licence is a legal limit.
- Ask whether the captain will run to Benagil and what that means.
