Who OurseaYachts are and what they run
OurseaYachts Algarve Tours is a small private yacht name that competes for guests staying in Albufeira. When we checked in August 2026 we did not find an official website for the brand, and its public review count is low compared with the big shared-boat operators. The bookings we saw go through third-party calendars such as GetYourGuide, Viator or CheckYeti, or through a private quote sent by email. This is an independent review; we do not sell their tickets.
Because the footprint is small, identification matters more than it does with a painted marina boat. What tells you which boat you are on is the yacht name on the voucher, the skipper's name and the berth written on the quote. If a listing only says "luxury yacht Albufeira" next to a stock photo, ask which boat before you pay.
What a private yacht day includes
A private yacht day is a different product from the 2.5-hour caves and dolphins trip that most people book from Albufeira. You are paying for the whole boat, a skipper, and a timetable you partly set: the departure time, how long to spend at the caves, whether to stop for a swim or lunch. - Guest count: the quote names a maximum. It must match your group, children included.
- Skipper and fuel: usually part of a day rate, but the quote should say so in writing.
- Food, drinks and water toys: often separate lines, sometimes optional packages.
- Duration: half day or full day, with the departure time agreed in advance.
- Cancellation: private charters often have stricter terms than a shared seat. Read the window before you pay.

Benagil rules on a private yacht
A bigger boat does not change the law at Benagil. According to the Capitania do Porto de Portimão notice (Edital 019/2024, amended by 009/2025), motor boats enter the cave through the west entrance for about two minutes, with a maximum of five boats inside at once. No boat may land on the inner beach, and swimming or paddling inflatables into the cave is not allowed. A private yacht can wait outside the cave in permitted water while you swim nearby, and it can spend longer along the cliff line than a shared boat, but it cannot buy you a landing. Seasickness is also unchanged. A larger boat is steadier for some people, but a short chop off Albufeira on a windy afternoon still moves it. Morning departures are usually calmer.
Who this operator suits
OurseaYachts makes sense for a group that has already decided against a shared boat: a family with grandparents who want shade and a toilet, a birthday party of eight to ten, or two couples who want to choose the timetable. It is a poor fit if the budget is close to the shared-boat band, or if what you want is a fast, wet ride past the caves; a speedboat or RIB seat does that for a fraction of the price.

Private yachts usually check in at a named berth rather than at the public ticket desks. A private boat waits only as long as the contract says, so treat the agreed time as fixed.
How to book and what to check on the listing
Search results for "yacht Albufeira" mix private charters with shared boats that happen to have a table in the photo. On GetYourGuide or Viator, filter for private tours, then open only the cards that name OurseaYachts or a specific yacht. Check the following before you pay:
- A named yacht, not a generic "luxury" photo.
- The guest cap, including children and infants.
- The berth town: Albufeira or Vilamoura.
- Included extras: fuel, skipper, drinks, snorkel gear, paddleboard.
- The cancellation window and refund terms.
- The weather policy: who decides, and whether you are rebooked or refunded.

OurseaYachts versus Elite Yacht Charters and EasyDream
Elite Yacht Charters is the closest name in the luxury band, but they are Vilamoura-based; choose between the two on berth town first and price second. EasyDream Charters and Algarve Boat Rentals compete on private hire from the Albufeira side, often with smaller boats and lower day rates. If the group is undecided about spending private-charter money at all, the 2.5-hour caves and dolphins tour from about €34 remains the benchmark everything else is measured against.
Our advice: get two live private quotes for the same date and guest count, one from OurseaYachts and one from an alternative, and compare the lines rather than the photos.
